Yesterday 25 local business people joined us here at Kidwells House for tea and cake in the garden in aid of St Michaels Hospice,  raising over £170. We organised the event as part of the Big tea 2014 campaign, which invites people throughout the month of July to buy or bake some cakes and pop the kettle on.  Friends, family, neighbours, colleagues or customers can join in and help support the Hospice and every penny raised from Big Tea parties goes straight to caring for the thousands of people each year in Herefordshire and the surrounding counties who benefit from St Michael’s Hospice services. Yesterday the sun was shining on one of the hottest days of the year as friends and associates enjoyed a range of cakes on offer.  Some were made by Kidwells House and guests also brought cakes which included an ‘Owl’ cake, a ‘Hedgehog’ cake, Lemon Drizzle, Coffee & Walnut and Eton Mess. Bunting was borrowed from St martins Church, Ross Road and Wiggly Wigglers. We also held a draw with prizes very kindly donated from The Great British FloristThe CourtyardKinnersley cottages, Kidwells House. Here are a few pictures from the day, please click here for more
