Over the past few months the UK has seen more than enough rainfall. So much that areas of Uk turned into fields of water. Houses and businesses have been affected and roads have been unpassable.

Newtown Road including Kidwells House was once a flood plain and the road would turn into a swimming pool over the rainy season.

With thanks to the council finding the funding to build the Flood Defence System, we have not been affected by water in almost 5 years now. We feel so lucky to have these defences in place and our hearts go out to everyone that has been affected over the past few months.
