We were very pleased to have the opportunity of visiting Hergest Croft Gardens last Thursday. The house was built over 120 years ago, and has been lived in by four generations of the Banks family who designed the gardens.
It was a beautiful afternoon and we were greeted by stunning views towards the Black Mountains. We explored the gardens and were amazed by all the beautiful trees and shrubs, however, we had missed the azaleas and rhododendrons due to the time of year. Maybe we will have to have another visit.
After enjoying our walk around the gardens we went to the house for a well deserved cream tea and a sit down to admire the views.
A guided walk is available, however you would need to book for this. Please take a look at their website for more information.
